In September 2014, Holly Springs held the first annual Beericana Craft Beer and Music Festival at Sugg Farm Park. It was a huge success with more than 2,700 people in attendance and over 50 breweries from around the state of North Carolina and other parts of the country in attendance. The second annual Beericana is scheduled for September 12, 2015 from 12:00-6:00 at Sugg Farm Park.
What is Beericana? It is exactly what the name says.....a festival bringing fantastic craft breweries from all over the state of North Carolina together as well as some from outside the borders and combining them with awesome music. This year, it is anticipated to have over 70 different breweries in attendance, more than 4000 attendees and 3 bands lined up to play from 2:00 - 6:00. For your price of general admission ($45), you are allowed in at 2:00 and have access to the live bands and unlimited tastings from the breweries. If you want to step it up and go with a VIP ticket ($75), along with the bands and unlimited tastings, you also get early access to the event (12:00), and access to the VIP restrooms.
For those that love their beer but also need a little something solid on the stomach, don't fear as there will be lots of food options to choose from. Right now, over 20 different food truck vendors will be on sight to tempt your taste buds with options like Bar B Que, burgers, pizza, cheesesteaks, and so much more. If you have a hunger, it will be met that day. Food trucks are not included in the price of admission so bring some extra $$$ in your pocket as prices will vary from truck to truck.
Breweries from all over will offer several different options from their stores for attendees to try. Local favorites such as Aviator Brewery, Bigg Boss, and White Rabbit will be in attendance. For a full list of breweries that are coming, check out the website, http://www.beericana.com/breweries/.

If you are coming from the local area like Fuquay Varina, Apex, Cary or Wake Forest, or if you are coming from a farther distance such as Charlotte or Greensboro, you don't want to miss the 2nd annual Beericana. It is growing and the fun is growing with it. It is a must be at event for anyone that enjoys sampling different style beers and loves good music and a fun time. It is sure to be a blast.
Need Tickets??? Go to http://www.beericana.com/tickets/ and you are set. The organizers of the event are giving away 4 pairs of VIP tickets for the event and the way to enter is to purchase tickets online. The earlier you buy, the better your chances are to win. When it comes to providing the utmost in personal service to his clients, Peter Kima is on the cutting edge. This family man's demanding work ethic was passed on from his parents. His mother, a first generation German-American, forged a new life in a strange country. His father, who has not missed a day of work since 1972, led by example. Peter does not rest until he's done everything in his power to help you achieve your goals. As a husband and a father, his understanding of the importance of a family's home is reflected in his every move.
When Peter is not helping one of his clients, he can be found volunteering his time running a charity Lobster Bingo event, cooking burgers at the local Fire Station to benefit the children in the community, delivering dictionaries to every 3rd grade student in Wake County with his Kiwanis Club, collecting school supplies for the needy, or ringing the bell for the Salvation Army. His favorite pastime, however, is spending time with his wife, Jennifer, and their two sons, Cole (12) and Camden (9 going on 20!).
Peter has resided in Germany, California, Georgia, Indiana, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Oregon and Vermont. Having lived in North Carolina for over 10 years, Peter refers to North Carolina as home. Don't underestimate the value of Peter's moving experience. "Kristine and I would like to extend a sincere "thank you" for all your efforts in our home buying experience. During this entire experience we have come to look at you as more of a "friend" than just our real estate agent. The way you followed through with both written and verbal commitments is an honorable trait that you should be proud of. It makes us feel good to know that there are agents that go the extra mile like you have done for us. "
