Have you ever flipped through a home magazine looking at pictures of luxury homes, oooing and ahhhing over the design features thinking “I want that” but knowing you wouldn’t leave your town to get it? Say no more because the builders have come to you! Hidden beside the Wake Forest Reservoir is a gorgeous new section of luxury homes in the community of Traditions. Bridgewater at Traditions offers privacy and picture perfect views and your choice of four different custom home builders to help create your dream home. There are miles of both natural and paved trails surrounding the community and historic Wake Forest is only a mile away.
The first phase offers 34 one-half acre home sites to build on with many offering the possibility of basements (hey, I’m from the north and love my basement homes). I recently introduced this community to some clients of mine who have been driving all over Wake Forest in search of their perfect home. They loved the convenient location and liked that each builder was a bit different and brought in their own unique touches.
The first builder there is John Wieland Homes. As one of the nation’s largest and most distinctive home builders, they’ve made a powerful name for themselves for over 45 years. John Wieland homes are known for their unique details, innovative features and thoughtfully designed plans that live easily and beautifully. They currently have four different 4 to 5 bedroom plans available in Bridgewater and they range in price from $659,900 to $809,900 and feature 3800 sq ft to over 4400 sq ft. One home is already ready for sale and is drop dead gorgeous! It‘s the largest of their floorplans and features a master bedroom on the main floor with private retreat, a two-story Family room, a separate Keeping room and tons of additional storage space. It’s priced at &781,000.
Next there is Homes by Dickerson. One of the premier builders in the Greater Raleigh Area, Homes by Dickerson has been building high performance Green Certified homes for over 35 years. They too have a home already under construction and available. It’s a 5 Bedroom, 4 Bath, 3809 sq ft home that is ideal for entertaining. Private guest suite on the main floor, large kitchen with oversized island, huge screened in porch and both a Rec Room and bonus room upstairs.
This past March, two more builders joined in. Terramor Homes is a local private homebuilding company, building single family custom homes all across the Triangle. They too are offering four different floor plans ranging from 3030 sq ft to over 4000 sq ft. Currently they have an unfinished basement available for sale. This Jensen floor plan has a master down, enormous walk in closet, very spacious laundry room and my favorite feature- the coffered ceiling in the Family room! The home also features a huge unfinished basement space to utilize however you’d like. Pricing on this home is still being finalized.
For some reason a few of you out there haven’t heard of Elm Street Builders. You should! They are a locally owned custom home builder currently building in Apex and now Wake Forest. They currently have available a Live Green Certified home, The Rosewood. With just over 3900 sq ft, it features 5 Bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms and a very unique design. Not only do you have a Family room but the oversized kitchen feeds into a comfortably sized Hearth room for entertaining as well as a rounded screened in porch. The floorplan also have a private loft perfect for an office or study area. This home is currently priced at $689,900.
With the HOA dues at only $65/month, you are given full access to the Reservoir for fishing and kayaking, Club access (which has a catered kitchen), Zero entry salt water pool with wet deck and kids play area, Amphitheater and fire pit, sand Volleyball court, and kids playground. Bridgewater will have another phase in the future consisting of a total of 70 home sites.
Finding a builder that fits your needs is never an easy process. Lucky for you, Bridgewater at Traditions is going to help make the process a bit easier. Walk through each builders home and take in every nook and cranny they offer. A luxury home should not only excite and wow you but should make you feel like there is nothing missing to the home. Let the builder walk you through the building process and ask as many questions as you need. Both they and your Realtor are there to help you feel confident in your building decisions.

When it comes to providing the utmost in personal service to his clients, Peter Kima is on the cutting edge. This family man's demanding work ethic was passed on from his parents. His mother, a first generation German-American, forged a new life in a strange country. His father, who has not missed a day of work since 1972, led by example. Peter does not rest until he's done everything in his power to help you achieve your goals. As a husband and a father, his understanding of the importance of a family's home is reflected in his every move.
When Peter is not helping one of his clients, he can be found volunteering his time running a charity Lobster Bingo event, cooking burgers at the local Fire Station to benefit the children in the community, delivering dictionaries to every 3rd grade student in Wake County with his Kiwanis Club, collecting school supplies for the needy, or ringing the bell for the Salvation Army. His favorite pastime, however, is spending time with his wife, Jennifer, and their two sons, Cole (12) and Camden (9 going on 20!).
Peter has resided in Germany, California, Georgia, Indiana, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Oregon and Vermont. Having lived in North Carolina for over 10 years, Peter refers to North Carolina as home. Don't underestimate the value of Peter's moving experience. He and his team understand the rigors involved in making a family move. Rely on that experience to help you.
