Apex Fireworks Frenzy and Olde Fashioned Fourth of July

Apex, named for the highest point on the Chatham Railroad, will hold its fireworks event from 5-10pm. It will feature food trucks, music and bounce houses for the kids.
The town of Apex has also traditionally delighted local homeowners by hosting the "Olde Fashioned Fourth of July" celebration, which includes a parade through downtown Apex. The parade showcases various community groups, local businesses, and festive decorations.

Come explore over 75 retail locations before the celebrations begin. Music by DK Mark McNally and followed by a choreographed fireworks display which will be broadcast live on Kix 102.9. Also check out the 360 photo booth and face painting.
Cary Independence Day Celebration
Tuesday July 4th
Doors open at 3:30pm
Koka Booth Amphitheatre, once home to the town’s first movie theater, will host this year’s celebration. Cary Town bands leads off the music followed by the North Carolina Symphony. Fireworks over Symphony Lake to cap off the evening. General admission seating is available free to the public on a first-come basis, and a limited number of table reservations are available for purchase. Food vendors will be available outside the gates.
City of Durham 4th of July Fireworks

Game starts at 6:35pm
The Durham Bulls, made famous by the 1988 sports comedy Bull Durham, will be facing off against the Norfolk Tides. Gates will open for general admission at the end of the 7th inning. Space is based on first come, first serve so get there early. Better yet, come catch the ballgame at Durham Bulls Athletic Park and then stay for the fireworks afterwards.

Gates open at 6pm.
Fuquay-Varina, so named in 1963 is one of the fastest growing communities in NC, will have fireworks, music and fun at the town’s South Park. Music by Spare Change. Make sure the kids dress for the splash pad which will also be open during the event.
Garner Independence Day Celebration

Garner’s event will be held at beautiful Lake Benson Park. There will be tours of the Garner’s Veterans Memorial. CJ Baker Band and The North Carolina Symphony will perform a patriotic musical program followed by a fireworks display. You’ll enjoy food trucks and kid’s crafts.

Holly Springs, whose motto is ‘Life, Better’ will extend the Independence Day celebration with live entertainment, ice cream, tacos, funnel cakes and more at Sugg Farm and Bass Lake. There will be live music followed by fireworks. Dogs are welcome. Bring your picnic blankets.

Raleigh July 4th Celebration at Dix Park

Raleigh, voted by US News and World Report as one of the best places to live in North Carolina, will hold its celebration on the 308 acres of Dorothea Dix Park. There will be 30 food trucks, an activity zone, live music and more. Parking will be located at NC State Centennial Campus where you can walk to Dix Park or downtown Raleigh parking decks where free shuttles will be running.
Wake Forest Independence Day Parade

The town of Wake Forest is celebrating 50 years of Independence Day celebrations! It’s Chamber of Commerce just celebrated 75 years.
Fireworks will be held at Husky Stadium at Heritage High School featuring the musical group Band of Oz.
Wake Forest has hosted an Independence Day parade, typically starting past historic Wake Forest Homes on North Main Street and proceeding through downtown. The parade highlights local groups, schools, and businesses, and is a popular community event. There will be an art market at the Wake Forest Community House.
