I am a sucker for alliteration and to be clear, its dog barks, a nice cold brew and a bite to eat, not a dog biting you but I digress. We have officially hit Spring on the calendar and, somewhere in one of the many “springs” that we get in the Triangle area, there is no better time to go out and explore places with your family and your furry friends.  We at Kima Real Estate Group, would be happy to meet up with you with one of our dogs, chat about dogs, sports, or even the current state of the real estate market here in the Raleigh area. So buckle up and check out these dog friendly places then make a note to visit them soon!

A newcomer to town, coming in with a bang, West Street Dog Park, gives dogs and their owners alike a time to unwind and be social. The spot not only features an off leash dog park, it also has a bar for the furry friend owners. Looking to board your dog or cat?  They do that too. You can find this spot at 400 W. North Street, Raleigh, NC 27603.

Need to unwind in an arcade and have the pup tagging along? Look no further than Boxcar Bar+Arcade. Boxcar offers a plethora of games to choose from including both new and retro games as well as a full variety of pinball options. The bar and arcade are both dog friendly and they have great hours. Visit Boxcar at 330 West Davie Street, Raleigh, NC 27601.

Next up we find Raleigh Brewing, specifically the Neil Street Location. In part due to  both indoor and outdoor seating, this is a popular place to come on a nice spring day or any day for that matter. There are many options on tap with my personal favorite being the “Not Another”, which is a New England Style IPA. Their calendar stays packed with food trucks which visit the brewery to  ensure you get a filling meal as well. The address of their Neil Street location is 3709 Neil St, Raleigh 27607.

Looking to not only support a local restaurant but also support local animal rescues? Then run, do not walk, over to Wilson’s Eatery. Pups are welcome on the patio and in the beer garden where 5% of all food sales are donated to local animal rescues and animal causes. Wilson’s Eatery is located at 1053 E. Whitaker Mill Rd, Raleigh, NC 27604.

Sneaking up to North Raleigh, this one will require good weather however dogs are welcomed on the front patio of Salt + Lime Cabo Grill, where the menu is quite extensive. Your 4 legged pal might get jealous if you come here without them but either way, you will surely enjoy it! You will find this one located at  6006 Falls Of Neuse Rd, Raleigh, NC 27609.

Further North you say? Why of course, “The Hideout”, courtesy of Lonerider, is ready for you in the wonderful land of Wake Forest.  You will find indoor and outdoor seating here as well so bring the whole family to enjoy a nice spring day, afternoon, or evening. There typically are plenty of people to enjoy company with as well as food trucks on site. The address for The Hideout is 1839 S Main St, Wake Forest, NC 27587.  If you know your way around Wake Forest, you’ll find it right by The Factory!

Head a little east to Knightdale and you will find Oak City Brewing Company, another local place to enjoy. Oak City features craft brews and a dog-friendly beer garden. They host food trucks most nights but make sure you check their website as some nights are deemed, BYOF, aka , Bring Your Own Food! Oak City Brewing is located at 616 N First Ave, Knightdale, NC, 27545.

Let’s head West next, over to Cary, where we find BottleDog Bites and Brews, a group who seems to love alliteration as much as me. You will find it all here; food, drinks and dogs. The menu for both food and beverages is extensive and a place you will not want to miss if you are out in Cary. Check them out at 8306 Chapel Hill Rd, Cary, NC, 27513.

The list goes on and if I left off a favorite, please let me know!  More so, if you visit one of these definitely let me know how your experience was! As much as our team loves real estate in Raleigh and surrounding areas, we love community and being a resource for all things! If you are looking to make a move, check out our website, Kima Real Estate Group , to learn more about our team and how we help you win in today’s ever changing real estate market!
