Hot Coffee Spots in the Triangle Area

When I asked a friend recently what she would want to see in a local blog post she said more info about coffee! She stated that yes, we have discussed coffee before but there are so many others out there that deserve a spot light! That got my wheels turning and I realized that we have talked about coffee locations but primarily in the Wake Forest area and she was requesting more local spots that have great coffee with the added bonus of awesome ambiance for when she’s out and about in the Triangle area.

This day in age it seems like EVERYONE drinks coffee.. When I was a teenager I never would have dreamed of drinking coffee on the few occasions that I tried it I found it bitter and disgusting and often wondered how my mother and brother could drink it from the time the woke up to the time they went to bed. I seriously thought something was wrong with them! Insert a few years later and I realized during college that it was a necessity and the only way I could stomach it was by having a splash of coffee with my cream and sugar! Times sure have changed, now I have it almost daily and sometimes several cups! My taste have changed and although I cannot drink it black I don’t load it with sugar anymore, unless of course I’m getting one of those awesome seasonal drinks like Pumpkin Spice Lattes or Peppermint Mocha’s.

So with all that being said and with some input from some local friends here is a list of awesome coffee shops throughout the Triangle! Whether you are out holiday shopping, headed to a Christmas event, grabbing your cup of coffee before work or headed out to look at real estate in the area you’ll be sure to find a hot (or cold if you’re like me!) drink to get you through the day!

While this little drive through shop is unassuming, it's a great place to grab a coffee on the go. This is a great option for those on the north side of town near Wake Forest! Rumor has it the Iced Caramel Macchiato is the drink to get!

Like all of the other reviews online state, I'd agree that this place is fantastic! From the convenient location, to the seating area inside and the beautifully crafted lattes and scrumptious sweets, you truly can’t go wrong!

This is another fantastic place to go and grab a specialty coffee, they use house-made syrups that are to die for! Their food menu is awesome as well! The only downfall to this location.. It’s closed on Sunday!

Rumor has it that this little gem is the best place in Cary to grab a good quality cup of coffee. I’ve never been so I’ll talk the recommendation and will check it out next time I’m in Cary!

Deja Brew Coffee House

This place serves up some awesome coffee as well as food! The inside reminds me of a library/study in an old Victorian home. Added perk of this location is that they also have a drive thru!
