North Hills: It's not your grandma's mall anymore!
If you've been a homeowner in the Triangle area since or before the 90's chances are you can still remember the tiny, rectangular indoor shopping center that we used to call North Hills Mall. I remember my mom taking me on shopping trips to JC Penney, and beyond that, not much. There wasn't a ton to remember, honestly.
North Hills (dropping the "mall") has come a LONG way. Now North Hills could almost be considered a destination among our city. From shopping and dining to relaxation and play - North Hills is where it's at. It's no wonder Raleigh residents are jumping at the opportunity to purchase homes as close to North Hills as they can get!
If you're in the mood for shopping you'll definitely want to check out:
- Kendra Scott for gorgeous jewelry
- Copper Penny for Charleston inspired fashion
- Fleur for unique boutique clothing finds
- Learning Express for some awesome kids educational and fun toys
- Lilly Pulitzer for upscale fashion for those with bright, bold styles
And another 50+ stores that line the gorgeous grounds
Want some amazing food? North Hills is foodie heaven. You can find:
- Coquette Brasserie with it's amazing French cuisine
- Another Broken Egg Cafe which is an awesome breakfast/brunch/lunch spot
- Chuy's for Tex-Mex with AWESOME made in house tortillas
- Kilwins for ice cream and other chocolate treats
- World of Beer for, well, drinks of course!
Need something to do?
There is a movie theatre, bowling alley, massage parlor, a couple of options for working out, plus nail and hair salons, and even a dog park!
If you haven't been to North Hills lately I urge you to go and check it out. You can easily spend an entire day out there without a lack of entertainment, that's for sure!
