    Triangle Residents---if you are looking for a one of a kind bakery in the area, you must check out The Phoenix Bakery in Pittsboro!     Everything is made in small batches by hand, from scratch everyday! Straight from the "About" section of their website - The Phoenix Bakery believes "solid, simple ingredients are the vital building blocks of exceptional food." Whenever possible the bakery uses as much local, organic, non GMO, and whole ingredients.

    On a recent trip to the bakery with my family we were all so impressed! Our order included the English Muffin sandwich, a Breakfast Burrito, a Boston Cream Filled Donut with Ghirardelli Chocolate Ganache, and a Coconut Cream Filled Donut with Vanilla Glaze and Toasted Coconut. Every single thing we tried was absolutely AMAZING!  One of the best parts to me is the dough the bakery uses - there is something so unique about the texture - I have never tasted anything like it. The English muffin was so fluffy and the donut dough was so smooth.

    The charming local atmosphere and the staff are very inviting.  The prices are spot on and their menu selection is very diverse to include items from pastries and cake, to grilled breakfast and lunch, plus a variety of breads.     I will gladly drive an hour from Wake Forest to come back to this bakery -trust me! While you are out looking for homes in the Triangle and need a bite to eat, stop by The Phoenix Bakery- you will not regret it!
