Wake Forest Chamber
The residents and small business owners in Wake Forest have such an incredible advantage. What is it? Is it the Factory? The incredible park system? The quaint but bountiful downtown area? The historic N. Main Street? The incredible restaurants? The access to Raleigh? The wonderful schools? An incredible caring community that supports each other? The leadership on the Board of Commissioners? The lovely Mayor? A real estate market on fire? Yep or yup (depending on what part of the country you are from). But that is not what I am talking about. As they say on infomercials... "But wait, there's more!" Sometimes I make myself laugh!!
What am I speaking of? YOUR Wake Forest Chamber of Commerce. A group of people lead this organization. This group...cares. About you. About Wake Forest.
The Wake Forest Chamber is...
Dedicated to Service - To our businesses and our community
Professional - Everything we do is done with integrity
Fiscally Responsible - Your investment is always used wisely
Fun - Warm and friendly is our goal
Our Core Focus is...
Helping Businesses Thrive - Offer opportunities to achieve success
Building Relationships - Provide the platforms for members to connect
Advancing Member Businesses - Connect members to education and professional development opportunities
Providing Training and Development - Create unique programming tailored to our members' needs
The Wake Forest Chamber announced its top goals for 2020/21
- Chamber Gross Revenue of $600,000
- Increase Retention Rate by 3%
- Acquire 100 New Members
- Increase and diversify participation at all Chamber events
All of this falls under a theme.... BUILD BACK BETTER. COVID and 2020 really took a toll on organizations like the Chamber. The good news is that you...America....Wake Forest....have come storming back and we are actually watching a rebirth of a pretty darn good organization! The future is bright. What does BUILD BACK BETTER actually mean?
All programming and events will fall under this theme
All ideas, events, speakers, and programs need to relate to our core values and core focus. If they don't, we don't do them.

Pretty cool, huh? Did ya know about all of this? Did ya? The Wake Forest Chamber also has a Foundation. One of the best parts of the foundation is how driven it is to make a difference in the lives of young adults in our communities. The opportunities to learn leadership skills and become future members of chambers around the world are endless right here in WAKE FOREST!!!
The Foundation is special. Founded in 2015 it is focused on four areas in particular. Entrepreneurship (thank goodness for spell check!), financial literacy, workforce development, and education! Please visit the Wake Forest Chamber Foundation and get involved. You do not need to be a member of the Chamber to help with the Foundation...but in the words of Wooderson from the movie, Dazed and Confused..."It'd be a lot cooler if you did"! LOL
Want to join the Chamber? Have more questions? Want to meet up over coffee and discuss it? Or a beer? Or a Business After Hours event? Contact me. I would love to invite you to become more active in YOUR Chamber.
