What Is Your 2020 Vision?
What Is Your Vision for 2020?
Have you ever wondered what the purpose of a vision board is? Well you are about to find out! I have been doing vision boards since 2014 and have found them to be life changing and very effective. The power of putting your desires, dreams, and goals down on a poster board is truly amazing and it is so simple. Think about what you really want to manifest into your life when starting your vision board. You can focus on your family life, love life, career, health, how you want to spend your time, what you want to learn/achieve, etc. Visualization will train your mind, body, and spirit to manifest your goals. When putting your dreams/desires out to the universe, make sure they are clear and concise. Do not put anything you don’t want---this is counterproductive. Don’t just ask for a better life---be specific! What does that entail?
Things you will need to create your vision board are: poster board, tape, glue, scissors, magazines, etc. I like to look for images on the internet and print them out. This allows me to get exactly what I want instead of settling for what is available in magazines. Allow 2-3 hours to think about what you want to include on the vision board & to put everything together. A lot of people like to do vision boards in groups and make an event out of it. I personally like to be all by myself in peace and quiet :) I also like to include a picture of myself/family in a smiling picture and put it in the middle. A picture showing your happiness is a great focal point.
Once you are done, hang the poster board in a spot that you will see it the most. You want to surround yourself with pictures of your ideal life, who you want to become, what you want, where you want to go, etc. If you are having issues deciding what to put on your vision board, sit in a quiet space for 10 minutes and set the intent. Ask yourself what you want in specific areas of your life. Your intuition will guide you. You can use phrases, affirmations, words, pictures, etc.---there are no rules! I tend to use more words/affirmations than pictures. It is whatever you are drawn to.
It is important not to question the validity or effectiveness of the vision board. Just let it be and trust the process. Things will manifest at the right time. The timeline is not for us to know. The universe will deliver in due time and produce what is for our highest and best good. The law of attraction will be on your side!
There is never a better time to create your vision board than at the beginning of a new year. Set time aside for yourself in 2020 and manifest your life to a level you have always dreamed of and deserve.
