Kelly Royston grew up in a rural part of eastern North Carolina. After meeting and marrying the love of her life, Andy, they decided to move to Gaston County, where they have lived for over 25 years. Together, they have raised two wonderful sons, teaching them the importance of kindness, hard work, and the value of education. As a mother, Kelly takes immense pride in supporting her sons, who have varied interests in athletics, robotics, and marching band. Family is a cornerstone of Kelly’s life, and she treasures the moments spent with her husband and children. Over the past 23 years, she has made a significant impact as a teacher. She values the importance of making connections with students and peers.
In her downtime, Kelly indulges her love for reading and trips to the beach with her husband. Beyond her role as an educator, wife, and mother, Kelly actively engages in her local community. She volunteers for various events and organizations, recognizing the importance of collaboration and support within the community.
